Record calls lawfully
You are responsible for knowing and following the recording, privacy, employment, telecom, and data-protection rules that apply to your calls. Give any required notice and obtain any required consent before recording. Do not record a person who has declined or withdrawn consent when the law requires you to honor that choice.
Use recordings for a legitimate purpose
Use the service for genuine business needs such as quality, training, safety, compliance, dispute resolution, or customer service. Do not use it for unlawful surveillance, stalking, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, fraud, or to violate another person's privacy or other rights.
No autodialers or unwanted calling
Call Observe is a recording service, not a platform for robocalling or mass outreach. Do not connect autodialers, predictive dialers, or other systems that generate high volumes of automated or unwanted calls. Do not use the service to support spam, scams, deceptive caller identity, or calls made without any permission required by law.
Protect recordings and account access
Give access only to people who need it, use appropriate security controls, and promptly remove access that is no longer needed. Do not share credentials carelessly, expose recordings publicly without authorization, or upload malicious software or harmful files.
Do not attack or interfere with the service
Do not attempt unauthorized access, probe for weaknesses without written permission, bypass service limits, disrupt the platform, overload shared systems, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or interfere with another customer's use.
Use a fair share of service resources
Use the service in line with your plan and its intended call-recording purpose. Activity that creates unusual load, threatens reliability, or harms other customers may need to be limited. If your needs are unusually large, contact us so we can help plan a suitable setup.
You are responsible for your users
Organizations are responsible for activity under their accounts and for making sure their administrators, employees, contractors, and other users understand and follow this policy.
How we handle problems
We may investigate suspected misuse and ask you to help resolve it. When practical, we will explain the concern and give you a reasonable chance to correct it. We may limit or suspend access sooner when needed to protect people, recordings, the service, or the law. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination.
Questions or reports
If you are unsure whether a planned use is acceptable, or believe someone is misusing the service, contact Call Observe support. We would rather help solve a concern early than let it become a larger problem.
